About Acceleration Academies
At Acceleration Academies, we partner with school districts and communities to design and operate flexible education programs that re-engage learners and support high school diploma attainment. State testing is a critical gateway to graduation, and strong testing operations are essential to ensuring that Graduate Candidates have every opportunity to demonstrate proficiency and earn their diploma. The Academy Testing Chair plays a key role in coordinating testing logistics, driving participation, and ensuring full compliance with Florida testing security and administration requirements.
The Academy Testing Chair is responsible for the end-to-end coordination of all site-based state testing activities, including FAST, EOC, and concordant score opportunities. This role focuses on testing logistics, student registration and participation, compliance with Florida security protocols, and the identification and preparation of Graduate Candidates who are close to meeting proficiency.
Working closely with academy leadership and instructional staff members, the Academy Testing Chair ensures every eligible Graduate Candidate is scheduled, prepared, and supported through each testing window, and that all testing administration requirements are completed accurately and on time.

Why This Role Matters
State testing is often the final step between a Graduate Candidate and their diploma. The Academy Testing Chair ensures that every eligible GC is registered, prepared, and present for the assessments that matter most, and that the academy meets every Florida compliance and security requirement along the way. By driving participation, supporting Graduate Candidates close to proficiency, and closing the loop on make-up testing, this role directly strengthens graduation outcomes.
This on-site role is based in Florida and offers a pay range of $28.85 - $33.65 per hour.

Founded in 2014, Acceleration Academies is a national leader in re-engaging young adults not experiencing success in a traditional high school setting. We partner with school districts across the U.S. to offer dropout recovery and re-engagement services, credit recovery, and a flexible personalized alternative for students (and former students) to earn a customary district issued high school diploma. We offer in-person and online options so that students can work anytime from anywhere, plus a social and emotional support system to remove impediments that have caused students to struggle in a traditional setting. Our research-based program is currently supporting over 5,000 students in partnership with school districts in eight states.
