Under minimal supervision, this position ensures that all Criminal Justice Advanced/Specialized and Equivalency of Training (EOT) Training courses are conducted in accordance with both FDLE and College policies; responsibilities include: managing day-to-day operations, supporting instructors, facilitators and students, and ensuring compliance with institutional policies and procedures; Preparing Advanced/Specialized and EOT Training course schedules, instructor assignments, advising students with FDLE courses and scheduling facilities, engaging in short and long-term planning, determining instructional materials and supplies revising curriculum as mandated changes occur. Support retention resources and other indicators of progress to assist students and faculty toward course and degree/certificate completion goals. Work closely with leadership to enhance the educational experience and promote a positive learning environment.

This position classifies the physical exertion requirements as sedentary work involving lifting no more than 50 pounds at a time and occasionally lifting or carrying articles like docket files, ledgers, and small tools. Although a sedentary job is defined as one which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.
