The Behavior Specialist supports BHA Academy’s mission by helping individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral needs achieve academic, social, and emotional success. This role partners with teachers, clinicians, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure behavioral supports and interventions align with each student’s IEP and functional needs.
Behavior Specialists provide assessment, behavior planning, staff coaching, and crisis support while promoting safe, structured, and individualized learning environments. This role helps ensure consistent implementation of behavior supports across settings and plays a key role in student growth and progress.
This is a safety-sensitive position requiring the ability to maintain alertness, provide direct supervision, transport individuals as needed, and administer medications as trained.

Starting Salary: Our compensation is competitive within the market. The starting rate for this position begins at $62.099.11 annually, with your final offer based on a combination of your education, relevant experience, and overall qualifications.
