Department Overview:

Galin Education ( www.galined.com) is an education company that works with students as they prepare for and apply to college. We work with students one-on-one and in small groups for tutoring, test prep, and admissions counseling for college and graduate school. Galin Education also works with a variety of education organizations throughout the country, including schools, camps, and educational technology companies.

Schedule:

• Flexibility in evenings and/or weekends
• Ability to attend monthly evening trainings (all training is paid at the training rate)

Salary/Wage Range:

Hourly $35.00 to $50.00

Job Duties:

Tutors will work one-on-one and in small groups with students and use existing curriculum, supplemented by additional materials, to work with students. Tutors report to the Education Director who conducts initial tutor trainings, facilitates ongoing professional development for tutors, and keeps in touch with tutors throughout their work with our families.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in education as a teacher or tutor
