JOB PURPOSE
BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

The post holder will be responsible for delivering Academic Science (AS) at the Technical Institute for Naval Studies (TINS). Specifically, AS Instructors are expected to teach the principles of general health & safety in an engineering environment, mathematics, engineering science and units specific to the City & Guilds 2850 curriculum.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
The post holder is responsible for:
Delivering NTT Academic Science curriculum.
Supporting invigilation activities for assessments.
Supporting remedial training activities.
Writing assessment materials.
Supporting the continuous improvement of courseware materials and media.
Writing cadet reports as required to meet customer requirements.
The post holder will be expected to operate to a standard of absolute integrity and professionalism.
The post holder will ensure the completion of any other reasonable request by the AS Senior Instructor, which aligns with Company business.
RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION
Essential
A Bachelor’s degree in a Scientific or Engineering discipline.
A teaching qualification such as BEd or PGCE or government recognition as a teacher.
Recent experience of teaching Mathematics, Science or Engineering.
Have a minimum overall score of IELTS 5.0 with speaking and listening band scores at 5.0 for non-native English language speakers.
Desirable
Possess extensive knowledge of C&G and/or EASA regulatory clause compliance requirements and associated privileges.
Preferably, understand large companies’ practices and procedures.
Ability to multitask, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
