
SCOPE OF WORK: Administers the Paramedic Emergency Medicine program through the development, implementation, evaluation, and advancement of course curriculum and programs, teaching effectiveness, student advisement, academic support systems, and program promotion. Ensures the Paramedic Emergency Medicine program remains compliant with state and national accreditations. This position reports to the Chair of the Department of Healthcare Professions at NHTI – Concord’s Community College.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Master's degree from a recognized college or university with a major study in nursing, health, education, emergency medicine, or a related field.
Experience: Ten years’ experience as a paramedic, nurse, or advanced care provider (APRN, PA, MD/OD) with preference to emergency medical experience. Five years’ experience as an EMS educator (paramedic-level preferred). Current employment as a medical provider (prehospital preferred). Experience as clinical coordinator and hospital clinic faculty (paramedic-level preferred).
License/Certification: Current licensure as a New Hampshire paramedic, New Hampshire EMS Instructor Coordinator (EMS I/C), and American Heart Association Instructor certifications in ACLS, PALS, and BLS.
