The EUC Curriculum for the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine has been designed to ensure that graduate attributes are fully compliant with the EU Directives, aimed that all graduates demonstrate Day One Competencies for Veterinarians as described in the Standard Operating Procedures of the European System of Evaluation of Veterinary Training (ESEVT), which is managed by the European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education (EAEVE) in association with the Federation of Veterinarians of Europe (FVE).
The five-year curriculum of the Veterinary Program at European University Cyprus is a competency-based integrated spiral-design curriculum. A key feature of the program is its great level of integration at all levels during the progression towards the degree. Content, teaching, learning, and assessment activities form a cohesive framework in the program, ultimately allowing all graduates to demonstrate competency levels for Day One after graduation.
