Job Description

The University of Chicago’s Department of Medicine, Section of Hematology/Oncology, and the University of Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center are searching for highly clinical full-time faculty members at the Assistant Professor rank who specialize in the treatment of solid tumor cancers. The appointees will have a mix of inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities at our Hyde Park campus and at network locations. Other duties will include the teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent upon qualifications. This position is benefits-eligible. Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be BC/BE in Oncology.
