
The University of Chicago’s Department of Medicine, Section of Hematology/Oncology, and the University of Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center are searching for full-time faculty members, on the School of Medicine track, at any rank. The candidate will be expected deliver outstanding patient care and collaborate well within a multidisciplinary team. Appointees will have a mix of inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities at our Hyde Park campus and at network locations. The candidate is also expected to develop a patient-oriented clinical research program in their area of interest that will complement our existing GU research pipeline. Other duties will include the teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation are dependent upon qualifications. Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be BC/BE in Oncology.
We welcome candidate who specialize in the treatment of genitourinary cancers, with a preference for candidates with expertise in renal (kidney) malignancies.
