
The University of Chicago’s Department of Medicine, Section of Hematology/Oncology, and the University of Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center seek full-time faculty members at any rank on the School of Medicine track who specialize in breast cancer treatment. Appointees will have regular clinic sessions at our Hyde Park campus and possible network locations and attend inpatient services. Other duties will include the teaching and supervision of trainees and students, as well as clinical research that may involve therapeutic and non-therapeutic interventions and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent upon qualifications. This position is benefits-eligible. Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois and State of Indiana, and 3) be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Oncology.
