
Academic Operations & Research Intern
The Intern will support the Education, Research and Academic Department across a range of cross-functional activities. The role is designed to provide support to academic operations, research activities and digital learning innovation development within a higher education context. As the Research area is currently being developed, the role will provide operational support to its implementation.
Support the collection and organisation of academic documentation in collaboration with multiple stakeholders across the department and institution, and contribute to the development of guidelines for the effective management of academic activities.
Provide support to local teams to ensure the smooth operation of digital platforms, including ticket management and troubleshooting activities.
Support the organisation of research events, conferences and academic initiatives (such as international days)
Assist with logistics and academic requests
Provide support in projects related to digital and blended learning environments
Assist in testing and documenting the use of digital tools and AI applications in education
Contribute to the revision of content within Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Support the collection, analysis and organisation of research materials and academic sources
Contribute to the preparation and editorial development of the institutional Research Newsletter
Assist in monitoring trends in education, with a focus on digital learning, AI applications and emerging technologies
Participate proactively in European and international research proposals (e.g. Horizon Europe, Erasmus+)
Degree (completed or in progress) in Education Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences or related fields
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (B2-C1)
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Proactive attitude and willingness to work in a collaborative environment
Interest in education, pedagogy and academic environments
Strong curiosity about the application of technology and AI in education
Interest in research activities and creative disciplines (fashion, design, arts)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Basic knowledge or interest in Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Familiarity with LLM (Large Language Model)
Internship (38 hours)
