The Division of Gastroenterology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine is seeking a General Gastroenterologist to join a division engaged in diverse clinical and academic practice, research, including multiple NIH grants, and two NIH Center grants.
Position Responsibilities:
Teaching
Will interact with the Division Director and fellowship program director to assist with inpatient and outpatient training of our fellows. Will participate in educational lectures and seminars, inpatient and outpatient training of our fellows, residents and students.
Service
Will interact with the division chief and faculty for continued expansion of the program.
Clinical
Ideal candidate will see inpatients and outpatients with various general GI illnesses, have experience in colonoscopy and upper endoscopy, as well as experience in functional GI disorders.
Research
Opportunity to participate in clinical trials.
