
The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Dermatology, seeks full-time faculty members for appointments at the rank of Assistant Professor. Appointees will have clinical responsibilities including Mohs micrographic surgery, procedural and cosmetic clinics, and shared on-call activity at the University of Chicago Medicine. Appointees will also have the opportunity to manage complex and high-risk skin cancer patients. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent upon qualifications. This position is benefits-eligible. Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: (1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent; (2) hold or be eligible forfull medical licensure in the State of Illinois, (3) be board certified or board eligible in Dermatology and Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery or equivalent, and (4) have completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Procedural Dermatology or Micrographic Surgery or equivalent training approved by the American College of Mohs Surgery.
