Located on a large private ranch on the outskirts of beautiful Cedar City, Discovery Ranch South is a licensed, accredited residential treatment center for adolescent students. As our Academic Coordinator, you will work with other departments to help best facilitate a positive learning environment for the students. You will work directly with the teachers and other academic staff to schedule and to ensure that they are current on trainings.

Requirements

Please note: your resume should include education, work experience, certifications, and licenses

• Must be 21 or older..
• Must be able to pass a background check and motor vehicle check
• Must have a current Utah drivers license
• Will need to be CPR/First Aid (within first 30 days of employment) and Crisis Intervention trained
• Must have basic math and strong computer skills & learn new software quickly
• Must have effective time management skills, strong boundaries, be a good listener, and adhere to rules and regulations
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Work well in a team setting environment
• Academic middle or high school experience is preferred.
• Strong organization skills and team leadership experience is preferred.
