
The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Cardiology, is searching for full-time faculty members at any rank who specialize in Cardiac Imaging. Clinical responsibilities will include outpatient clinic and inpatient service, cardiac imaging reading, and cardiology consultation at Hyde Park locations and possible off-site locations like River East. Other duties include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation are dependent upon qualifications.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, 3) be Board Certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease, and 4) have training and experience in advanced echocardiography and/or cardiac MRI and/or cardiac CT.
We especially welcome applicants with an interest in cardiac imaging research. Assessment of applications will consider training and experience in echo guidance of structural heart disease interventions and in cardiac MR/CT/PET.
