UMass Memorial Medical Group seeks to hire a Body / Abdominal Imaging Radiologist who is interested in pursuing an academic career with departmental support. We welcome and support physician caregivers from all Academic Ranks to apply and join us in our relentless pursuit of healing.

Key Highlights

Our Department:

  • ~100 Radiologists, 28 residents, and 10 fellows as well as approximately 25 research faculty and 5 full-time educators, provide comprehensive imaging services through a fully integrated health care system in central Massachusetts.
  • We are the primary academic medical center for UMass Chan Medical School.
  • Our department has state-of-the-art imaging equipment and modernized IT infrastructure, EMR (EPIC), Sectra PACS, and PowerScribe One, and has been at the forefront of implementing AI algorithms.
  • There are numerous opportunities to pursue individual interests in medical student education, health services or basic science research, and AI research, supported by a robust radiology clinical trials office and image processing labs.
  • Radiologists are welcome to work within multiple radiology subspecialties.

Our Division:

  • We are comprised of 14 full-time and part-time faculty and 1-2 Abdominal/Body Radiology fellows per year.
  • We provide a full range of diagnostic services including x-ray, fluoroscopy, US, CT, and MRI.
  • We work collaboratively with colleagues in Surgery, Oncology, Medical Subspecialties, and Primary Care.
  • As one of the region’s largest transplant centers, experience with transplant ultrasound is required.
