The Academic Advisor supports new and continuing students enrolled at Huston-Tillotson University by providing comprehensive academic advising throughout their educational journey. Serving as a key liaison between students and the university, the advisor ensures clear communication of academic policies, degree requirements, and support services to promote student success and retention.
The Academic Advisor also serves as a liaison to students in transition to their sophomore year, junior year and senior year.

Founded in 1875, Huston-Tillotson University is Austin's first institution of higher education. The University is an independent, liberal arts, church-related, historically black institution located on a 23-acre tree-lined campus near downtown Austin, Texas.
