The Rotman Commerce program is offered jointly by the Rotman School of Management and the Faculty of Arts and Science. It is a highly respected, highly competitive program within the business, financial and academic communities. Rotman Commerce serves approximately 3,400 in-program undergraduate business students as well as over 18,000 graduates of the Bachelor of Commerce program. Rotman Commerce offers its students a rich and rigorous academic program alongside ample opportunities to develop themselves personally and professionally.
As the Academic Advisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that Rotman Commerce students receive accurate, timely and responsive advising on academic matters (e.g. program and course selection, academic policy/procedure, program progression and degree requirements etc.) and charged more generally with developing and delivering programs and advising on matters related to a portfolio/area of focus, in this case, the scholarships and awards portfolio. This includes coordinating and administering Rotman Commerce and Faculty of Arts & Science scholarships and awards; advising students on funding opportunities, eligibility requirements, and application processes; overseeing application, review, adjudication, and renewal processes; developing scholarship-related resources and programming; and communicating with students and relevant University and Rotman Commerce stakeholders.
