The School of Business Undergraduate Programs Office (UPO) is seeking a full-time Academic Advisor 2. This position will report to the Director of Undergraduate Programs and will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of student programs or service areas through the development, implementation, and coordination of student development programs in the UPO. This role is designed to provide academic advising and counseling to students to support their development through experiential learning while planning for academic excellence. This role will focus on students at the Storrs campus but will engage in activities that impact students at all of UConn’s campuses.
This role will work within the Undergraduate Programs Office’s team, whose mission is to foster a dynamic and inclusive educational environment for holistic student development that empowers current and future students to achieve academic excellence, engage in experiential learning, understand a diverse world, and develop professionalism. The incumbent will advise undergraduate students about academic programs, plans of study, and policies. They will also provide administrative oversight for the coordination and implementation of programs intended to increase student retention and academic success. This position participates in all of the operations of the Undergraduate Programs Office, including areas such as admissions, orientation, and academic advising.
The position will be based at the Storrs campus. Occasional in-state or out-of-state travel may be required in support of program activities. Evening and weekend hours will also be required on occasion in support of program activities.

The salary range for this position is $66,015 to $68,900, depending on education, qualifications, and experience.
