
The Academic Advisor 1 will work under the direction of the Director of Student Services, UConn Waterbury, and will advise students about academic programs, plans of study, and/or policies, as well as co-curricular opportunities and extracurricular engagement. This position collaborates with other advising and student-centered offices across all UConn campuses to implement efforts supporting student success, serve as an on-site resource person to faculty, staff, and students, and work as part of a dynamic team advising undergraduates with personalized curriculum decisions. This position additionally supports UConn Waterbury’s Freshman Year Experience (FYE) program.
The hiring range for this position is $60,416 to $63,000. An offer of employment, if made, will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s skill and experience, as determined by the University.

This is a full-time, permanent position. Other rights, terms, and conditions of employment are contained in the collective bargaining agreement between the University of Connecticut and the University of Connecticut Professional Employees Association (UCPEA).
