Job Description
The Product Executive Director will serve as a senior leader within the ACAC Payments Product team, with end-to-end accountability for driving product deployment & management in all 20+ jurisdictions. A key part of the role will be to coordinate the different product teams to ensure good coordination. This role is critical to the franchise, requiring a visionary and strategic leader who can seamlessly bridge business, operation, technology, orchestrate complex cross-functional initiatives, and ensure the successful delivery of strategic priorities across all Lines of Business (LOBs). The Executive Director will be a catalyst for change, fostering collaboration, removing obstacles, and elevating the organization’s payments capabilities to new standards of excellence.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction for Product efforts in close coordintation with Sales teams.
- Act as central point of contact for the ACAC Payments Head for all regional (ACAC) product efforts.
- Coordinate efforts across different product teams to ensure good cross impact analysis and opportunities to leverage different initiatives to generate efficiencies.
- Coordination with regional and global stakeholders.
- Directs principal activities across the end-to-end product delivery journey including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting, while highlighting opportunities to improve efficiencies and functional coordination
- Owns the New Product Assessment (PDA) process coordinate with functional partners and ensures adherence to the firm’s risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Maintains a high level of visibility over product timelines and dependencies while monitoring blockers, ensuring adequate resourcing, and liaising with stakeholders and functional partners
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, breaking down silos and unblocking obstacles to progress.
- Organize and lead regular meetings with senior stakeholders to provide updates, escalate issues, and drive decision-making.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- 10+ years of experience in payments, transaction banking, or financial services, with a strong track record in program or product management.
- Knowledge of the Colombian local Corporate Cash Management Market
- Experience in USD Clearing & offshore Cash Management
- Knowledge of the Central America and Caribbean Markets is a plus
- Proven experience managing cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience in new product release and deployment processes and strategies
- Extensive experience leading operational management and change readiness
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Fluency in English and Spanish
