Ability Program Private Fitness Instructor

Doylestown, PA | Part Time, Hourly | $23 - $25 per hour | Flexible scheduling

We are looking for an Ability Program Private Fitness Instructor to join our team at the Y! We spend our days positively impacting the community around us. We help young adults increase independence through community based activities, job skill exploration, and healthy living experiences.

What is needed for this job as an Ability Program Private Fitness Instructor:

  • 18+ years of age
  • 1+ years of experience working with individuals with disabilities
  • Hold an active Personal Trainer Certification
  • Have a passion for fitness and living a healthy lifestyle
  • Are highly organized, punctual, and able to maintain own schedule

The responsibilities we will trust you with as an Ability Program Private Fitness Instructor:

  • Working with members with disabilities to help them achieve fitness goals
  • Giving expert guidance on maintaining a healthy lifestyle to members of all demographics
  • Meeting the needs of members in a safe and effective manner
  • Develop strong relationships with participants and their families through communication and actions
  • Provide feedback to participants and parents/guardians on individual performance
  • Creating client retention through progressive exercise prescription
  • Maintain confidentiality of all participants
