What are my responsibilities?

  • Develop and enhance Product Master Data application functionality in SAP ABAP
  • Build and maintain web-based applications using BSP technology
  • Design and implement technical interfaces, including REST and SOAP web services
  • Create and maintain custom reports, scripts, and automation solutions
  • Support PMD database structures and master data processing logic
  • Contribute to product master data processes, validation, and data quality improvements
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Collaborate with PMD experts, business stakeholders, and product organizations
  • Support testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance activities
  • Share knowledge and help sustain long-term PMD expertise within the team

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Strong experience in SAP ABAP development
  • Hands-on experience with BSP (Business Server Pages)
  • Experience with REST and SOAP web services
  • Knowledge of web-based development in ABAP
  • Understanding of master data processes and enterprise application landscapes
  • Ability to analyze requirements and deliver robust technical implementations
  • Experience with reports, interfaces, scripts, and automation in SAP environments
  • Good communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams

Nice to have

  • Experience with PMD or similar Product Master Data platforms
  • Knowledge of product data governance and quality assurance processes
  • Familiarity with SAP Basis or technical SAP architecture
