Scope of Work
The ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) Tutor implements individual curriculum and behavioral treatment to at least 4 preschool children (i.e., 1.0 FTE) with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) under direct supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA); records accurate data regarding child's skill acquisition and target behaviors; maintains curriculum materials.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field; basic knowledge of ABA and experience implementing ABA techniques highly preferred.
• Previous ABA experience preferred. Experience working with preschool-aged children highly preferred.
• Strong organizational and social skills; able to interact appropriately with young developmentally delayed children and manage numerous tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment; able to interact with parents, staff, and school personnel in a professional manner. Ability to mentor, to recognize own limitations, give and receive feedback appropriately, and train others to implement curriculum and behavioral interventions as directed by Clinical Manager.
