We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide clinical leadership, supervision, and operational support within our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program at our outpatient clinic in Rapid City, South Dakota.

The ABA Therapy supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the ABA program while providing supervision, mentorship, and clinical guidance to behavioral therapy staff. This role collaborates closely with the Director of Operations in Rapid City to support service delivery, staff development, quality initiatives, and program growth.
Direct reports may include:
- Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Supervisor of Outpatient Registered Behavioral Therapists
- BCBA Candidates pursuing certification
Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Operational Leadership
- Supervise daily operations within the ABA therapy program
- Manage therapy schedules, staffing coverage, prioritization, and intake coordination
- Serve as a clinical resource for treatment planning, case consultation, and behavioral programming
- Monitor department schedules, staffing challenges, and workflow efficiencies
- Conduct quality audits to ensure documentation, compliance, and billing standards are met
- Lead departmental projects and assign responsibilities to team members
- Facilitate staff meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration across departments and locations
- Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with leadership to support marketing and growth of ABA services
- Assist with budget preparation and monitoring
- Maintain therapy equipment, supplies, and inventory
- Maintain a clinical caseload consistent with discipline expectations
- Support volunteer coordination and onboarding processes
Staff Supervision & Development
- Provide supervision to BCBA Candidates employed within the organization
- Serve as the RBT Requirements Coordinator for the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Complete annual performance evaluations and coaching conversations
- Assist with hiring, mentoring, onboarding, and training BCBAs
- Coordinate staff training, competencies, and certification timelines
- Monitor payroll, attendance, and administrative responsibilities
- Ensure quality standards and service expectations are consistently achieved
- Respond to operational and staffing concerns in a timely manner

Requirements
Education and Experience
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Eligibility for licensure in South Dakota
- Minimum of two years of experience practicing as a BCBA in an early intervention clinic setting (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis principles and practices
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to analyze problems and implement effective solutions
- Technology proficiency and experience using electronic systems and software platforms
Preferred
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience mentoring or supervising clinicians and/or BCBA Candidates
