A/B Level Automotive Technician – Asian Vehicle Specialist | $35–$50/hr | No Weekends

Location: Walnut Creek, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $35.00–$50.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Pay Type: Hourly

We are seeking an experienced A/B Level Automotive Technician with extensive experience servicing Asian vehicles to join our established independent repair shop in Walnut Creek, CA. Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections following manufacturer and industry standards.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Asian vehicles, including routine maintenance, major repairs, and advanced diagnostics.
• Service Toyota, Lexus, Subaru, Mazda, Honda, Acura, Nissan, and Infiniti vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair domestic and European vehicles as needed.
• Utilize AllData and other technical resources to complete accurate repairs.
• Document inspections, diagnostic findings, and repair recommendations within the shop management system.
• Communicate effectively with the Service Advisor regarding vehicle conditions and repair needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while delivering high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of professional automotive repair experience with Asian vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Extensive experience servicing Toyota, Lexus, Subaru, Mazda, Honda, Acura, Nissan, and Infiniti vehicles.
• Ability to perform maintenance, repairs, advanced diagnostics, and major removal and replacement (R&R) work with minimal supervision.
• Comprehensive set of professional automotive tools.
• Proficiency using diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and AllData.
• ASE Certifications and/or California State Smog License preferred.
• Hybrid and electric vehicle experience is a strong plus.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and contribute to a team environment.
