About Pine Island Auto Inc

Pine Island Auto Inc is seeking an A-Level or strong B-Level Automotive Technician who wants more than a place to turn wrenches.

The shop works on a diverse vehicle mix, including approximately 40% Domestic vehicles, along with European, Asian, specialty, and other vehicles.

The facility features 3 bays and professional diagnostic technology, including Snap-on, Launch, Autel, and factory-specific laptops and software

This is an opportunity for an experienced technician who can diagnose, inspect, and repair vehicles while continuing to develop their skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
• Perform general automotive maintenance and repair
• Complete thorough multi-point vehicle inspections
• Identify safety concerns and needed maintenance
• Complete digital vehicle inspections
• Work efficiently with Service Advisors and the repair team
• Document findings clearly and accurately
• Use modern scan tools and diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle concerns accurately

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience preferred
• A-Level or strong B-Level technician capabilities
• Strong general repair skills
• Diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
• Ability to perform thorough multi-point inspections and identify vehicle needs
• Comfortable working on multiple makes and models
• ASE certifications, state inspection/emissions licensing, DVI experience, factory or dealership training, European vehicle experience, and Tekmetric experience are beneficial
