Job Summary

This role is accountable for designing, architecting, and delivering robust data integration and ETL solutions leveraging Ab Initio, ANSI SQL, and Unix Shell scripting. The individual serves as a technical subject matter expert, guiding teams in solution implementation, driving technology adoption, and ensuring alignment with industry standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architect and design scalable ETL solutions using Ab Initio GDE and supporting components, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client specifications.
2. Develop complex data transformation processes utilizing Ab Initio, ANSI SQL, and Unix Shell scripting to enable efficient data integration across platforms.
3. Provide expert-level technical support on Ab Initio, addressing solution challenges and advising the team on advanced troubleshooting techniques.
4. Lead knowledge sharing sessions on Ab Initio, ANSI SQL, and Unix scripting, fostering skill development and technology adoption within the team.
5. Evaluate and validate project deliverables, applying Ab Initio best practices and quality standards to ensure optimal solution performance.
6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into robust data integration solutions utilizing core technologies.
7. Recommend and implement client value creation initiatives by adopting industry-leading practices in Ab Initio and related data management technologies.

Skill Requirements

1. Expert proficiency in Ab Initio ETL toolset, including GDE, EME, and Conduct IT.
2. Excellent understanding of ANSI SQL for advanced query development and optimization.
3. Expert-level skills in Unix Shell scripting for automation and operational efficiency.
4. Advanced proficiency in architecting data integration and transformation solutions.
5. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and solution validation skills.
6. Solid experience in mentoring and technical leadership within project teams.

Other Requirements

1. Ab Initio Certified Professional (optional but valuable)
2. Relevant certifications in Data Integration or ETL tools (optional but valuable)
