Als Aankoper sta je, in nauw overleg en samenwerking met het tender- en uitvoeringsteam, in voor een optimaal en tijdig aankoopproces. Je speelt een sleutelrol tijdens zowel de tenderfase als de uitvoeringsfase van projecten.
Je zorgt voor het realiseren van de meest economische aankoop van diensten en middelen, waarbij je rekening houdt met planning, technische vereisten, risicomanagement en QHSES-normen. Je staat voortdurend in contact met het tender- en uitvoeringsteam en fungeert als belangrijke schakel tussen de markt en het project.

A typical example is the Middle East, where over a 55 year period BESIX has built up an impressive portfolio. In 2018, BESIX strengthened its position in Australia by acquiring, through a public takeover bid, all the shares of construction company Watpac Ltd.
