MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
This role is accountable for leading and delivering high-impact initiatives that advance the organization’s strategic priorities and enterprise value creation. Acting as the business lead across the organization, the incumbent will provide end-to-end ownership of complex, multi-functional programs that span business units, geographies, and operational domains.
The position requires the ability to navigate significant organizational complexity, align diverse stakeholder groups, and orchestrate multiple workstreams simultaneously. The successful candidate will operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, ensuring that cross-functional streams are integrated, risks are proactively managed, and outcomes are delivered with measurable business impact.
As the enterprise business lead, this role will drive strategic clarity, foster alignment across functions, and ensure initiatives are executed with discipline, accountability, and a focus on sustainable value realization.
Key Activities – Enterprise eClose Solution Implementation (Organization-Wide)
Enterprise Business Leadership: Serve as the business lead for the end-to-end implementation and evolution of the eClose Solution across all organizational units, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy and long-term value creation objectives.
Complex, Multi-Stream Program Management: Direct a high-complexity, cross-functional transformation program involving multiple departments, regions, regulatory environments, and stakeholder groups, managing interdependencies, competing priorities, and enterprise-level risks.
Strategic Value Realization: Drive strategic initiatives that maximize the effectiveness, scalability, and measurable business impact of the eClose Solution across the organization.
Continuous Capability Discovery & Customization: Proactively explore and assess evolving tool capabilities, functionalities, and enhancements; translate these into tailored solutions that address organizational needs; and transform or configure the platform to optimize performance, usability, and business relevance.
Innovation & Optimization Leadership: Identify opportunities to leverage advanced features, automation, and analytics within the tool to continuously elevate process maturity and operational efficiency across geographies.
Global Stakeholder Alignment: Partner closely with Global Process Leads and senior functional leaders to define governance standards, deployment models, and roadmap priorities, balancing global consistency with local operational requirements.
Cross-Functional Orchestration: Coordinate diverse, multi-disciplinary teams (Finance, IT, Operations, Compliance, and Regional Leadership) to ensure seamless integration of the solution into existing systems, workflows, and reporting structures.
Global–Local Integration Management: Harmonize country-specific regulatory, operational, and cultural requirements with global eClose standards, navigating organizational and technical complexity to maintain compliance while driving standardization.
Process Transformation & Continuous Improvement: Lead the redesign, harmonization, and ongoing optimization of closing processes and workflows across countries, embedding best practices and scalable governance mechanisms.
Change & Adoption Leadership: Champion change management and stakeholder engagement in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, ensuring successful adoption of innovative technology solutions and sustainable transformation of the organization’s closing processes.
This role sits at the center of enterprise-wide transformation, requiring strong business ownership, technical curiosity, and the ability to continuously translate evolving system capabilities into tangible organizational value.
Key Accountabilities
Executive Communication & Regional Leadership Engagement
Serve as the primary business interface to regional management teams, ensuring alignment between global program objectives and regional strategic priorities.
Provide structured, transparent communication on program progress, risks, dependencies, and value realization to regional and executive leadership.
Navigate regional regulatory, operational, and cultural complexities to maintain enterprise alignment across geographies.
Enterprise Governance & Project Monitoring
Establish and oversee robust governance frameworks to monitor progress across integrated, multi-functional and multi-regional workstreams.
Provide comprehensive visibility into program health, including milestone achievement, cross-stream interdependencies, financial impact, and risk exposure.
Deliver executive-level reporting and decision support to senior leadership to enable proactive steering of a highly complex transformation.
Core Model Alignment & Policy Adherence
Ensure all system configurations, process designs, and implementation settings are fully aligned with the organization’s Core Model standards and global operating principles.
Safeguard strict adherence to corporate policies, governance frameworks, and standardized process architectures throughout all phases of implementation.
Validate that global templates and standardized workflows are consistently applied while appropriately integrating justified local requirements.
Act as the guardian of process integrity, ensuring harmonization across functions and geographies in line with the Core Model.
Cross-Functional & Multi-Workstream Collaboration
Drive strong collaboration across all functional and technical workstreams, ensuring seamless integration of deliverables and alignment of timelines, dependencies, and priorities.
Orchestrate coordination between Finance, IT, Compliance, Operations, and regional stakeholders within a complex matrix organization.
Proactively manage cross-stream impacts, ensuring cohesive execution and preventing siloed decision-making.
Enterprise Risk, Compliance & Internal Control Oversight
Ensure full compliance with internal control frameworks, SOX requirements, and regulatory standards across all regions.
Embed control-by-design principles into system configuration, process harmonization, and governance structures.
Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate operational, financial, compliance, and data-related risks through structured risk management methodologies.
Maintain audit readiness and collaborate closely with Internal Audit and Compliance functions to validate control effectiveness.
Program Leadership & Facilitation
Lead global and regional steering committees, governance forums, workshops, and cross-functional collaboration sessions.
Coordinate enterprise-wide impact assessments, solution design sessions, testing phases, and structured knowledge transfer activities.
Establish clear decision-making models and issue resolution protocols to support efficient execution in a high-complexity environment.
Organizational Change Management & Adoption Strategy
Design and implement comprehensive change management strategies to ensure high adoption and sustainable integration of standardized processes.
Conduct stakeholder impact analyses, develop communication frameworks, and coordinate global and regional training programs.
Ensure smooth transition to harmonized, technology-enabled processes aligned with the Core Model.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Governance & Quality Assurance
Lead and coordinate global UAT cycles, ensuring alignment of business and technical resources for timely and high-quality validation.
Oversee defect management, prioritization, and resolution in accordance with enterprise standards and compliance requirements.
System Integration, Data Governance & Integrity
Ensure accurate system integration and data migration between legacy platforms and the new eClose Solution, maintaining strict adherence to governance and control standards.
Oversee data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and loading across UAT and production environments.
Maintain full transparency, traceability, and integrity of data throughout the transformation lifecycle.
Go-Live Readiness, Validation & Post-Implementation Stabilization
Ensure comprehensive go-live readiness, including financial validation procedures (e.g., penny testing) executed within defined timelines and compliance parameters.
Lead post-go-live validation, stabilization, and control verification activities to confirm system reliability and policy adherence.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen process standardization, governance maturity, and enterprise performance.
This role carries enterprise-wide accountability for delivering a highly complex, multi-stream transformation while safeguarding Core Model alignment, policy compliance, strong cross-functional collaboration, and sustainable value realization across the organization.
Expected skills
Experience
· Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
· 5+ years’ project management experience
· 5+ year’s accounting experience and working knowledge of SAP
· SAP experience preferred
· Demonstrated understanding of project management and/or change management methodologies, and experience leading & applying their principles and governance processes to projects
Education
· Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
