The MLADC or LADC Substance Abuse Specialist provides outpatient assessment, treatment, referral and consultation and education services for adolescents/families and adults with alcohol or other drug problems, as well as clients with dual issues of substance abuse and mental health problems.

Requirements
* Masters Degree in substance abuse or related fields (psychology, counseling, social work, nursing, or related field from an accredited college or university.) Preference given to degree that is certifiable or licensable in New Hampshire.
* LADAC certified or eligible for certification.
* At least one year in a degree-related internship under the supervision of a psychiatrist, doctoral level psychologist, a certified/licensed mental health professional or person with equivalent credentials.
