Location: DeKalb, IL
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:30 PM
Pay Rate: $30-$40 per Hour + Bonus
Pay Type: Hourly + Bonus
Earning Potential: Up to $100,000+ Annually

We are seeking an experienced A-Level or B-Level Automotive Technician to join a busy, family-owned repair shop in DeKalb, Illinois. This opportunity is ideal for a technician with strong diagnostic and repair skills who enjoys working in a professional, team-oriented environment with consistent workflow and opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform brake, tire, and wheel alignment services
• Diagnose and repair drivetrain and drivability concerns
• Perform engine repairs and routine maintenance
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs) on every vehicle
• Communicate repair findings clearly with service advisors and team members
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Deliver high-quality repairs while maintaining productivity

Qualifications

• Three or more years of professional automotive repair experience
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity
• Experience performing Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs)
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 100 pounds
• Strong communication skills
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
