A-Level Automotive Technician - Up to $45/HR - 2107

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

$38 to $45/Hourly (Depending on Experience)

We’re looking for an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician to join our Charlevoix team. This role is ideal for a highly skilled technician who enjoys solving complex problems, mentoring others, and helping lead a strong, long-term team environment.

This is a key leadership position within the shop — someone who can serve as the team’s go-to diagnostic expert while supporting workflow, training junior technicians, and helping drive overall shop performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting including electrical and drivability concerns
• Supporting and mentoring less experienced technicians
• Assisting with workflow improvements and shop efficiency
• Helping with complex repairs and technical problem-solving
• Working closely with service advisors to ensure accurate recommendations and communication
• Helping train and develop junior technicians

What We’re Looking For

• Strong diagnostic ability — this is a heavy diagnostic role
• 10+ years of automotive repair experience
• 5+ years focused on diagnostics
• Proven experience as an A-Level or Lead Technician
• Leadership mindset with a willingness to coach and develop others
• Well-rounded general repair skillset
• Professional, team-first attitude
• Long-term mindset and commitment to quality workmanship

Compensation

• $38–$45+/hr DOE (depending on experience and leadership background)
• Flexibility for highly qualified candidates
