About Trans-Formers Transmission & Complete Auto Repair Specialist

Trans-Formers Transmission & Complete Auto Repair Specialist is seeking an A or B Level Automotive Technician in Cartersville, GA. Pay ranges from $20-$40/hr, with B-Level technicians at $20-$30/hr and A-Level technicians at $30-$40/hr.

This family-owned and operated shop specializes in automatic transmissions while also providing general maintenance and repair for light-duty vehicles. The team focuses on quality workmanship, dependable repairs, and giving technicians the time and resources needed to do the job correctly.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform automotive repair and diagnostic work based on experience and assigned responsibilities
• Remove and replace automotive transmissions and engines
• Diagnose drivability concerns on light-duty vehicles
• Perform automotive and transmission diagnostics
• Complete vehicle programming and reprogramming as assigned
• Work on domestic, Asian, and European light-duty vehicles
• Use Snap-on ZEUS, Matco diagnostic equipment, ALLDATA, Identifix, and available shop resources to complete assigned work accurately
• Complete repairs with a focus on quality and dependable results

Qualifications

• 5+ years of automotive repair experience
• Strong general mechanical repair skills for B-Level work, including transmission and engine removal and replacement
• Strong automotive, drivability, and transmission diagnostic skills for A-Level work
• Programming and reprogramming skills for A-Level work
• Dealership or independent repair shop experience considered
• Automotive certifications preferred
• Dependable, team-focused approach to automotive repair

Compensation & Benefits

• B-Level Automotive Technician: $20-$30/hr
• A-Level Automotive Technician: $30-$40/hr
• Hourly pay with weekly pay schedule
