Job Description

New Bedford Harbor Hotel is a Lafrance Hospitality property, is currently accepting applications to fill FULL TIME a A La Carte Server for the hotels restaurant.

We are searching for energetic, responsible, dependable, hard working individuals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Taking specific, sometimes complex, item-by-item orders directly from guests.

2. Thorough understanding of ingredients, daily specials, and drink pairings to answer guest questions.

3. Staggering the delivery of appetizers, entrees, and desserts based on the guest's specific pace.

4. Sets the tables with dishes, utensils, napkins

5. Bus tables, removing dishes and linen at conclusion of event.

Pay: $15.00 Per Hour

Job Type: FULL TIME

Shifts: Tuesday -Saturday Evenings at the Restaurant

Requirements

  • Require nights, weekends, and holidays. Must have flexible availability.
  • Good with POS systems and putting orders in
  • TIPS- a PLUS but not a requirement
  • Lifting 10+ lbs
  • Possess a pleasant, helpful personality to assure a positive experience for the guest and a positive work environment for fellow employees and management.
  • Must be able to take direction.
  • Must present a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance.
