The 9th grade girls basketball position is responsible for working with the head girls basketball coach in running the high school girls basketball program, as well as directing and coaching the 9th grade basketball program. This person is responsible for coaching student athletes in skill development, strategies, and techniques to prepare them for competition. The 9th grade coach sets daily practice plans and has clear goals/vision and objectives for student athletes to reach their potential. Teaching and learning is a priority, as we prepare the players for basketball and life skills. The position will require MSHSL certification by taking online modules on a variety of topics including the philosophy of school based sports.
Salary range: $4,319- $4,406
Coaches are eligible to attend home, non-playoff sporting events at no cost.
