93-012 – Security Administrator/Visitor Control (SA/VC)

Position Overview

Sandy Mac Evolution LLC is seeking a Security Administrator/Visitor Control professional to support classified government operations at Andrews AFB, Maryland.

The selected candidate will provide visitor control, security administration, personnel security, and information security support and will assist the Chief of Security with entry and circulation control and other administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Check identification of visitors and ensure visitors are appropriately sponsored and cleared.
• 
  Verify visitor clearance information through applicable personnel security databases.
• 
  Determine visitor entry requirements and ensure proper building access.
• 
  Log visitors, issue visitor badges, and notify hosts of arrivals.
• 
  Ensure visitors do not introduce prohibited items into controlled areas.
• 
  Assist government personnel with inspection of bags and hand-carried items.
• 
  Receive packages from outside agencies and distribute them in accordance with facility procedures.
• 
  Verify assigned personnel are displaying appropriate access credentials.
• 
  Perform emergency procedures associated with bomb threats, active shooter events, force protection, anti-terrorism, fire evacuation, and other emergency situations.
• 
  Maintain accountability of logs, instructions, equipment, and access badges.
• 
  Assist with personnel security, information security, program security, and entry control functions.
• 
  Maintain visitor logs and associated security documentation.
• 
  Support day-to-day facility security operations as required.

Required Qualifications

• 
  1–2 years of related experience.
• 
  Prior experience in special program security work highly preferred.
• 
  Experience with visitor control, access control, security administration, classified environments, or personnel security is highly desirable.
• 
  Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• 
  Ability to maintain accurate security logs and records.
• 
  Ability to follow established security procedures and emergency response protocols.

Education

• 
  Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalent experience may be considered.

Security Clearance Requirements

• 
  Must possess at least an active Secret clearance to start.
• 
  Must be able to obtain and maintain Top Secret/SCI/SAP eligibility.
• 
  Must be willing to submit to a Counterintelligence Polygraph.
