Summary: Under general supervision, operates a truck with a capacity of more than three tons to transport materials to and from designated destinations. Performs duties as directed by the immediate supervisor or Operations Manager. This is not a dock-to-dock position; drivers are required to break down and rotate products at all customer locations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive trucks to designated destinations in a safe and timely manner.
• Prepare delivery receipts and ensure the accuracy of products delivered against invoices. Document and report any discrepancies.
• Collect payment for delivered goods when required and according to invoice instructions.
• Maintain accurate driver logs in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Maintain regular communication with Branch Management regarding deliveries, issues, and scheduling.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of truck equipment and supplies, including tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water levels.
• Safely operate material-handling equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, ramps, loading docks, and lift gates, and perform required inspections.
• Follow all applicable safety regulations, company safety policies, and established procedures.
• Perform duties in a manner that prevents damage to company products, equipment, and facilities.
• Ensure assigned equipment is clean and properly maintained at all times.
• Respond promptly to customer questions and requests to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Treat all internal and external customers with professionalism, respect, courtesy, and kindness.
• Support and comply with company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Demonstrate accountability by considering how individual actions impact customers, coworkers, and the company.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements as outlined in the Employee Handbook and other company communications.
• Exemplify BakeMark's core values of Partnership, Performance, and Passion in all aspects of the role.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business objectives.
