
Genentech USA, Inc. seeks a SAI Therapeutic Area Senior Manager at its South San Francisco, CA location.
Duties: Within global pharmaceutical and medical diagnostics company, strategize and execute go-to-market plans, employing advanced customer segmentation techniques based on prescription, and sales data while working closely with marketing, medical, and data science teams. Partner with cross functional stakeholders (e.g. Data Management, IT) to ensure data acquisition and delivery meets needs to drive the analytics plan, and meet business need for insights. Translate research and analysis into concise and compelling business stories that influence decisions and strategy. Develop and deploy machine learning models to predict patient diagnosis based on claims data, leveraging Python, Structured Query Language, Amazon Athena and JupyterLab. Conduct in-depth analysis of commercial claims data to derive actionable insights and metrics essential for forecasting market trends and facilitating strategic decision-making. Identify market drivers, trends, issues, competitive impact, etc. utilizing understanding of pharmaceutical sales, marketing and access/reimbursement.
Education and experience required: Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Economics, Computer or Physical Science, statistics or closely related field and 4 years of experience as a Software Developer, Data Analyst, Marketing Analyst, or closely related field.
Special Requirements: Must have 2 years of experience with each of the following:
Analytical tools (Python, SQL, R);
Business Intelligence reporting tools (Tableau);
Data Mining with SQL;
Statistics in Business Analytics;
Programming with Python; and
Process Modeling and Data Management.
Telecommute allowed up to 2 days per week

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location for this position of South San Francisco, CA is $272,397 to $279,400 per year. Actual pay within the range will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by lawA discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
