Roche Diagnostics Operations, Inc. seeks a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst at its Indianapolis, IN location.
Duties: Within global medical diagnostics organization, lead development and enhancement of business intelligence solutions by converting proof-of-concept analytical models into scalable, reliable, and user-friendly tools for broader organizational use. Perform data analysis and develop comprehensive reports/dashboards that present actionable insights to support strategic and operational decision-making for supply chain management. Gather data from various supply chain sources and utilize advanced analytics techniques, including data mining, machine learning and predictive modeling to identify patterns, trends and correlations. Create reports highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and insights for supply chain optimization. Write and optimize complex Structured Query Language (SQL) queries to extract, manipulate and analyze large-scale datasets, including advanced join/nested queries, and conduct performance tuning for efficient data retrieval. Create and maintain database objects, including tables, views, and data models within cloud of relational database environments based on stakeholder requirements. Translate business logic and requirements defined by management into structured technical specifications for information systems solutions and data-driven outputs while aligning stakeholders’ interests. Develop and implement interactive dashboards and data visualizations using Tableau to enable business users to monitor critical business areas and lead the development/enhancement of internal business intelligence solutions by converting proof-of-concepts into tangible tools. Use platforms such as Alteryx to gather, consolidate and transform data from multiple enterprise systems, including SAP/WMS/text files/unstructured sources to create automated, unified and reliable data workflow. Perform process optimization and automation and conduct performance monitoring and KPI tracking. May telecommute up to 2 days per week.
Education and experience required: Requires a Master of Business Administration degree with concentrated coursework in applied data analytics and 2 years of experience as business analyst, data analyst or closely related position supporting supply chain analytics.
Special Requirements: Experience must include each of the following
Structured Query Language (SQL) for data extraction and transformation Data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) process development Designing, implementing, and monitoring Key Performance Indicators for supply chain operations, sales, marketing and engineering. Supply chain analysis and reporting, including analyzing large-scale datasets for inventory levels, order fulfillment, transportation and sales performance. Building predictive and time-series forecasting models Effectively communicating complex data to Executive stakeholders and translating requirements into actionable tasks.
May telecommute up to 2 days per week.

The expected annual salary range for this position based on the primary location for this position of Indianapolis, Indiana is $102,000 to $144,300 per year. Actual pay within the range will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
