REPORTS TO: TMS Athletic Director/Building Principal
SALARY: As determined by negotiated salary schedule and current memorandums of understanding with the collective bargaining unit.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Serve as head coach for 6th grade JV boys basketball team. Teach basics and fundamentals through basketball drills and practices. Ensure safety of all students during practices, games, and away events. Maintain inventory of equipment, uniforms, paperwork. Serve as a positive role model on and off the fields. Supervise team on the field, in the locker room, and on bus trips. Align with high school boys basketball program.
This position requires a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment for all students. The successful candidate will demonstrate a dedication to ensuring all students have the opportunity to succeed, recognizing and addressing barriers to academic achievement.
