6A24 - BOPP Mini Slitter II - SLOB - SLITTER OPERATOR B
TITLE: Slitter Operator C

POSITION OBJECTIVE: To ensure production of consistent quality product meeting all customer and internal quality requirements while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Good oral /written communication skills
• Mechanical aptitude
• Computing skills

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Exhibit safe work habits; including ensuring equipment is in safe working condition and reporting any unsafe acts / conditions to Senior Lead
• Follow Lock-Out / Tag-Out procedures when necessary
• Identify quality defects on slit reels
• Locate and utilize procedures and specifications
• All required documentation; including production and housekeeping
• Comply with company recycling policy
• Comply with all Plant Safety and Product Safety requirements

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:
• Balancing, maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing or crouching on narrow, slippery or erratically moving surfaces.
• Climbing, ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles. Using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Body agility is emphasized.
• Inside and outside environments apply.
• Manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures (cold and hot)
• Subject to noise.
