Job Description

Spectra Gutter Systems is seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to drive revenue growth and manage customer relationships within the Texas market. This role is responsible for developing new business, maintaining existing customer relationships, and executing territory sales strategies to support overall branch growth and profitability.

The ideal candidate is a disciplined, self-motivated sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment and is comfortable managing a defined sales territory.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow an assigned sales territory through consistent customer engagement and business development efforts
  • Prospect, qualify, and develop new customer relationships while expanding existing accounts
  • Build strong partnerships with contractors, builders, and customers within the local market
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and execute timely follow-up on leads and opportunities
  • Conduct customer visits, job site meetings, and ongoing territory development activities
  • Support revenue growth while maintaining pricing integrity and margin expectations
  • Track sales activity, pipeline updates, and customer interactions through reporting and regular sales reviews
  • Partner with branch leadership to support territory planning, customer satisfaction, and overall sales performance

Requirements

  • Previous outside sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
  • Self-motivated, organized, and highly accountable
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently within an assigned territory

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in building materials, distribution, manufacturing, or industrial sales
  • Experience managing a geographic sales territory
  • Knowledge of pricing strategy, margin management, and account development
  • Proven success in new business development and customer retention
