TITLE: Shipping/Receiving Clerk B

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Responsible for loading and unloading and inspecting incoming raw materials and outgoing product. Organize and clean raw material area.

• Support other areas of production
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Receive raw material shipments from Trucks
• Monitor the quality of incoming product
• Prepare necessary documentation for raw materials
• Communication with Truck Drivers
• Go over, verify, and sign off paperwork for shipments
• Report any quality, safety, or issues that arise to the supervisor
• Work closely with shipping and scheduling to fulfill customer orders
• Preparation of boxes to house our finished good product
• Safely Operate forklift
• Keeps work area clean and organized
• Maintain a positive work environment by motivating co-workers;
• Prepare production to hand off seamlessly to other shifts
• Support other areas of the plant

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:
• Plant environment

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:
• Some stair climbing, lifting 25 pounds or more
