The company are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead and coordinate assigned projects from kick-off to completion to ensure they meet technical, schedule, quality, and financial objectives while fulfilling customer requirements.

s:

  • Lead project kick-off meetings, technical reviews, and regular progress discussions with customers and internal teams.
  • Review project requirements, identify gaps or inconsistencies, and resolve technical or commercial issues with relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, milestones, schedules, and resource requirements for assigned projects.
  • Monitor project execution and drive timely completion of engineering, procurement, assembly, testing, installation, and handover activities.
  • Prepare and present project status updates, risks, recovery plans, and key action items to management and project teams.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, meeting records, technical submissions, change requests, and acceptance documents.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are achieved in line with scope, budget, and timeline commitments.
  • Manage scope changes, evaluate their impact on cost and schedule, and obtain the necessary internal and customer approvals.
  • Identify project risks and issues early, recommend corrective actions, and follow through to closure.
  • Plan and coordinate factory acceptance tests, site acceptance tests, verification, validation, and final project buyoff activities.
  • Ensure all project deliverables are submitted on time and meet contractual, technical, and customer expectations.
  • Support project closure activities, including punch list tracking, final documentation, lessons learned, and handover to customers or service teams.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, safety requirements, and project management best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to address project-related matters and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Receives customer issues / complaints and coordinates with related departments for solution and timely feedback to customer/client.
  • Lead ECO process, e.g. Update and maintain schedules for new development in program/project. Responsible for tracking program/project changes and publishing updated schedule as agreed with management.
  • Compile and manage program/project documents, e.g. product plans, mechanical drawings, bills of material, purchase requisitions, and submit or archive them according to the department policies.
  • Received Purchase Orders from customer/client for ad-hoc activities, perform invoicing, tracking and monitoring all records.
  • Coordinate the submission of purchase requisitions, and track progress and proper closure of purchase orders.
  • May follow up on shipments on ad-hoc request to ensure meet site and customer guarantees without any delay and coordinate the team to any issue that could generate an impact.
  • Prepare program reports and executive presentations for management, customer/client or others. May assist in metric development and tracking for the program/project.
  • Write Work Instructions, Process Flow or Procedures on the processes related to program / project coordination.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Project Engineer or Technical Engineer in an automation, machine building, or system integration environment.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, cost control, and risk management.
  • Experience in equipment design, build, testing, installation, and project delivery would be an advantage.
  • Ability to gather, analyze, and present technical and project information clearly to internal teams and customers.
  • Ability to prepare clear and concise reports, procedures, project updates, and technical documentation.
  • Good communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills when dealing with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Able to work independently, lead project teams effectively, and contribute as a strong team player.
