Job Description:

  • Plan, monitor, and control raw materials, components, and packaging requirements based on production schedules and customer forecasts/orders.
  • Generate material requirements using SAP/ERP systems and ensure timely procurement to support uninterrupted production.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels, track material consumption, and identify variances between planned and actual usage to prevent shortages or overstock.
  • Coordinate with buyers to provide material delivery schedules and ensure on-time receipt of materials.
  • Manage material master data, including lead times, safety stock, and reorder points, while supporting cost-control initiatives through inventory optimization and waste reduction.
  • Communicate with customers regarding order acceptance, delivery commitments, and material constraints, providing accurate updates on order status.
  • Handle customer inquiries, backorders, and delivery issues, collaborating with internal teams to prioritize orders based on material availability.
  • Assist in resolving complaints related to material shortages or delays and maintain accurate customer order records.
  • Generate reports on material consumption, shortages, and order fulfillment to support planning and purchasing decisions.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years experience in material planning or customer service in manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of MRP and inventory control using ERP systems such as SAP ERP.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis.
  • Good communicaƟon and coordinaƟon skills with customers and internal teams.
  • Able to analyze material shortages and manage mulƟple prioriƟes in a fast-paced environment.
