Founded in 1978, Formosa Plastics Corporation, U.S.A. (Formosa Plastics) is a growing, vertically-integrated supplier of plastic resins and petrochemicals. Formosa Plastics is a privately held company headquartered in Livingston, New Jersey. Our core business, producing plastic resins and petrochemicals, takes place at three wholly-owned chemical manufacturing subsidiaries located in Delaware City, Delaware, Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Point Comfort, Texas.
ASSISTANT II
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management: Receive, stock, and process goods receipts for materials, including domestic, international, and hazardous shipments. System Transactions: Utilize or systems (such as AS400) to process requisitions and track inventory levels. Shipping & Receiving: Assist with shipping, cycle counting, and offloading of materials as delivered.
Support & Logistics: Coordinate with maintenance personnel to supply required items and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications
Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, storeroom, or clerical role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with PC skills (MS Office) and experience with inventory systems like AS400, or ERP WebSmart.
Requirements: Strong organization skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Work Environment
This role operates within a 24/7 industrial plant environment, which may require adhering to strict safety and environmental regulations, including ISO and OSHA standards.
