Job Description

• Lead and manage the daytoday production operations in an injection moulding department
• Drive production schedule adherence, ensuring targets for output, yield, quality and safety are met.
• Supervise team of shift leads, operators and machine technicians.
• Coordinate with tooling maintenance, mouldchange teams, process engineering and quality assurance.
• Monitor key metrics: cycle times, machine utilisation, scrap/reject rates, downtime causes.
• Identify process bottlenecks, initiate corrective actions and continuous improvement activities (e.g., 5S, TPM, Kaizen).
• Ensure mould setup, machine startup, changeover and shutdown routines are executed properly.
• Assist in manpower planning, training and development of team members
• Maintain compliance with health, safety & environmental regulations, and internal operational standards.

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Engineering, Manufacturing or related field
• Minimum 5 years experience in plastic injection moulding manufacturing, preferably in supervisory role
• Solid knowledge of injection moulding equipment, processes, tooling/mould change, plastics material behavior.
• Strong leadership, communication (Malay/English), problem solving and team management skills.
• Willingness to work shifts or rotational hours, as required by production schedule
