Job Description

A Malaysia-based Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider, specializing in PCB production, design, industrialization, and repair services. Serving industries like connectivity, electrification, medical, industrial, located in Johor, it supports regional and international markets with advanced manufacturing solutions.

  • Maintain ICT/FCT test equipment.
  • Develop comprehensive test scenarios covering functional, performance, and reliability aspects based on product specifications.
  • Collaborate with customers to refine testing methods and processes for improved outcomes.
  • Ensure all test equipment is properly calibrated and maintained for precise measurement and reliability.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair test equipment issues to minimize downtime.
  • Install, configure, and verify test instruments for new product introductions.
  • Provide technical support for equipment and software upgrades or modifications.
  • Prepare detailed test plans and cost quotations for new products and system enhancements.
  • Work closely with suppliers on test programming, system maintenance, and technical improvements.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve issues encountered during product testing.
  • Continuously improve test procedures to enhance process efficiency and reliability.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement process improvement initiatives.
  • Design and develop automated test solutions to streamline testing operations.
  • Troubleshoot and debug failed products to identify root causes and corrective actions.
  • Program, update, and maintain ICT/FCT test systems to ensure optimal software execution and performance.

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess a bachelors degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven 5 years of experience as an Electronic Test Engineer or in a similar role within electronic manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic circuit design, test methodologies, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiar with different types of testing and programming equipment.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills, both internally with departments and externally with customers.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
