Job Description

s:

• Source, evaluate, and qualify suppliers for mechanical & electrical componentse.g., motors, actuator units, sensors, structural parts.
• Prepare and issue RFQs, analyze proposals, manage purchase orders, and track order fulfillment.
• Collaborate with R&D and engineering to align BOMs and procure prototypes or sample components.
• Negotiate supplier terms, including lead times, MOQ, and pricing.
• Monitor supplier performancedelivery, quality, costand resolve issues related to discrepancies or delays.
  
• Maintain records of pricing, supplier evaluations, and procurement data; ensure accurate entries within ERP or similar systems.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives and production ramp-up efforts through proactive material planning.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• 25 years of relevant procurement experience (preferably in engineering or construction)
• 
  Strong understanding of technical drawings and material specifications
  
• 
  Proficient in procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office
  
• 
  Excellent negotiation skills for pricing, contracts, and delivery terms
  
• 
  Analytical skills for cost analysis, supplier evaluation, and risk assessment
  
• 
  Good communication and interpersonal skills
  
• 
  Knowledge of supply chain processes and inventory management
  
• 
  Familiarity with procurement regulations and documentation procedures
  
• 
  Ability to manage procurement timelines and coordinate with cross-functional teams
